…a cornucopia that produces baby food?

Indirectly – this horn produces slop to feed the sow which suckles the baby and her piglets. As pet the scenario discussions, the slop can even be weaponized.

why aren’t the soldiers following them down there?, are they afraid of something?….. and more important

It’s dark down there. The Uz are hiding and they’re pretty good at hiding in the dark. 🙂

I got to feel like some cup-like ears seems to be visible in the corners of the panels.

The first wave soldiers (hoplites and dragonewts) are under order not to enter to avoid any chance of their looting.

To be fair the trolls went into the Cradle right after everyone boarded it in the first place – that was right after dawn, with these last few pages being in mid-to-late afternoon. It’s been several hours, and unlikely that all the trolls and trollkin were simply just staying right at the entrance, doing nothing the whole time.

Kalin, those images are splendid. 😀 They remind me of (the French comic author) Fred (whose most famous work is the aventures of Philemon)

Why does the giant’s cradle have doors that are the right size for humans?

I guess Commander Arglath’s carpenter cut it for access.
I awed the human door is smaller than the cat flap behind the horn.

Any thoughts on when the story might resume?
