    Why are the God Learners depicted as wearing pointy hats? I’ve never heard of this before, it’s canon I guess? Why?

      Well, they were Westerners, and the Wizard caste of western society must always be the tallest person anywhere, so they usually wear tall hats and shoes with platforms on them, to raise them up.

      As for why they are pointy hats? It’s a trickster telling a story about giants humping – take everything in it with a bucket of salt.
